HOW RIDICULOUS CAN THIS FALSE PROPHET STRETCH THE SCRIPTURES?

False prophet, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj is spewing out all sorts of theological rubbish and sadly, people are gullible to follow after him.

As our Lord warned us that in the last days, there will be many of such false prophets who will deceive even the elect, we ought to be more careful.

In this video, the false prophet from India made the following bizarre claims that:

(1) The Lord told him why his 22-year-old associate was called home. He claimed that God told him that there was a need to recruit young people so that God could raise up an army with these young people.

This is absolutely rubbish! The LORD of Sabaoth is already the LORD of a great army. In fact, in Hebrew, יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת is translated as "LORD of Hosts", which means that He is the Lord of a mighty army.

God does not need an additional young person in the army of God in the way this false prophet puts it. Instead, all of us -- whether we die young or old (כָּל)-- will be given a new body and we will join the army of the Lord (Zechariah 14:5).
וּבָא֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔י כָּל־קְדֹשִׁ֖ים עִמָּֽךְ

There is no need for God to go on a recruitment drive to take away young people to join His army. To claim that this recruitment of the young is a word of the Lord to him clearly shows what kind of a prophet Sundhar is!

(2) The second theological rubbish that he spouted out was that he had a vision of this associate of his coming to speak to him. This young man was riding on a horse.

It appears that what the poor Lazarus who was in Abraham's bosom was not allowed to do despite the plea by the rich man, this false prophet's associate returned to see him.

I caution everyone who listens to this man to be careful with his brand of teaching. It is always, "The Lord said to me..." Once he said this, no one questioned the authenticity of what he continued to spew out.

Our only authority is the word of God. A true prophet only speaks from the word of God to the conscience of the nations. Even the Old Testament prophets focused on the their forthtelling role, and only 5 - 10 percent of their writings were focused on the foretelling of Israel's future.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, beware of the false prophets which the Lord had cautioned against.

“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.               (Matthew 24:24)

  1. He seems like one obvious dude who hoodwinks the mesmerised crowds with the enchanting citings from his fleshly god.

Perhaps, solely exposing him for his exploits of the vulnerable crowds ain't enough.

What responsibility do the listening crowds have, listening to crap and wallowing in it as being divine? Aren't they responsible for the well-being of their own souls? Shouldn't they have the Bereans' attitude of checking these utterances against the Sword of the Spirit to see if they (utterances) stand aligned to the authoritative Word?

Where is the discipling Church in all this, encouraging him on, giving him the pedestal to spew rot on the body?

More can be said, but these questions need answers, from the church and the crowds.

Perhaps then, he will be speaking to the audience of one, himself!
